At the age of 28, I felt my time in the UK was a dead-end and decided to pursue a career in football analysis, scouting and recruitment in Germany where my wonderful fiancé lived.
I already wrote a lot about football but it wasn't giving me any satisfaction but we discovered I had a gift for seeing patterns in football tactics, explaining it in simple terms (sometimes) and also finding players that suited said patterns, so I turned that into several jobs.
While it all sounds lovely and easy, almost a year later, just shy of my 30th birthday, I was diagnosed with ADHD and as Autistic. Classing me as neurodivergent along with the mental health issues I had suffered with Borderline Personality Disorder and explained other issues I had; Rejection Sensitivity Disorder, Obsessive Compuslive Disorder and Eating Disorders.
It also makes me a mixed-race, neurodivergent, working class, woman in football. Here you can find some of the types of analysis work I like to do or personal stories/sufferings that I like to tell.
